My husband and I have loved cooking for each other since we moved in together in 2013. Back then, I was strictly vegetarian, and he was strictly the opposite. At some point, we took an old leather-bound notebook and started writing down all of the recipes we were creating. And thus began the Boyfriend Cookbook.
The Problem
We hunt for recipes online a lot, and our searches always end up the same: with one of us frustrated. Nearly all of the recipe blogs we come across have the same set of issues: unnecessarily expensive ingredients, too many ingredients, way too much content, deceptive content, too many photos, wayyyy too many ads, and terrible formatting. It makes finding and saving the recipes an unnecessary challenge.
Oh, and our moms wanted our recipes.
The Solution
One day I bought boyfriendcookbook.com, and the rest is history.
I developed a custom WordPress site with a custom recipe management system that is easy to manage and outputs content that is easy to navigate, easy to read, and FUN.
